The Ministry of Agriculture will start implementing a plan to reclaim and cultivate 5,000 acres in the New Valley, after completing allocation procedures that are coordinated with the governorate, implemented and managed by the Egyptian Agricultural and Rural Development Company, affiliated with the Agricultural Bank, to begin implementation next year.
It is worth mentioning that the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Al Quseir, discussed with the Governor of the New Valley the solution of the legalization problems in the governorate, and the joint agricultural projects between the two sides.
At the same time, the Ministry of Agriculture Mr. Al Quseir confirmed in a statement that the Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation discussed with Al-Zamalut the facilitating legalization procedures for citizens and collecting state dues. In addition, Al-Qusayr issued instructionto the Executive Director of the General Authority for Reconstruction and Agricultural Development projects for the necessity of quickly completing procedures and overcoming obstacles, in order to facilitate the citizens.
Fathi Hilal, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee of the Agricultural Bank, explained that the Agricultural Development Company is expanding its role by preparing 120 outlets in the governorates to receive corn from farmers during the season.
