Egypt has made remarkable progress in the development process at all sides, including raising the standard of living of resident and implementing a serious program for economic reform aimed at supporting the role of the public sector in development. In the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Egypt was able to complete the implementation towards (14762) projects. In the period since 30/6/2020, with an estimated cost of about (2207.3) billion Egyptian pounds, there are about (4,164) projects has been implemented at an estimated cost of (2569.8) billion Egyptian pounds.

For example, in the agricultural sector, since 2014 until now, we have witnessed many achievements, whether through restoration project of one and a half million acres, large greenhouse projects, one million head of livestock project and the revival of the veal project.

In addition, a number of major projects have been implemented in the fisheries development to bridging the food gap and provide forms of support to the farmers at the forefront of achievements. The total number of agricultural projects in different sectors reached 224 projects.

Also, an information bank about territories was established to determine the best way to manage it and a project was completed to appreciate wheat areas by remote sensing system. As well as a refrigerator was conserved to store seeds and the wheat crop was taken care of in the first place, a mini-store was established to preserve the germplasm of rice and a store for corn seeds was established during this period. 20 stables were purchased to grow wheat on terraces and six compartments for harvesting wheat, purpose of serving 1600 acre per year which making it easier for farmers.

In the field of cotton, a modern dynasty of cotton was produced, the processor was developed and the seeds were produced to protect the Egyptian productivity, and with respect to horticultural Recipients, jojoba was produced and introduced as a new type for the production of energy and oils, and new types of tomatoes were developed that bear the Egyptian environmental conditions, improve the productivity of the Egyptian artichoke and develop Productivity of pumpkin and Egyptian oranges, for the purpose of increasing horticultural Recipients, improving their quality, and opening new prospects for export In this regard, the state supported the rural development project, providing palm seedlings, potato seeds, fertilizers and bio gasification.

With regard to the field of agricultural engineering, horizontal silos, agricultural mechanization and transportation equipment have been developed in order to facilitate the process of land reclamation, reduce costs for farmers and facilitate the process of supplying grains. The residual control laboratory has also been developed by purchasing and analyzing the remaining equipment.

The 1.5 million acres project includes 13 areas in 8 governorates, located in Upper Egypt and Sinai, according to the state of the climate and soil analysis and the degree of salinity of water are, Qena, Aswan, Minya, New Valley, Matrouh, South Sinai, Ismailia, and Giza, which were chosen after deep studies, to be close to urban areas and lines of communication between provinces and the road network. The offering of the lands of the first and second phase of the project has been completed for small farmers and investors, provided that the entire offering of the project’s lands will be fully offered by the end of 2020.

In February 2016, the President issued a decision to form a committee to recover state lands that were proven unlawfully seized, and the President also instructed the Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior to recover lands from squatters on which projects have already been established after paying their value. Indeed, the committee has succeeded in removing and legalizing many lands, whether building lands or agricultural lands.

With regard to launching the productive village initiative, agricultural exports, the project to establish 100,000 greenhouses, the national project for silos, where a presidential decree was issued to establish 50 metal silos inside Egypt, to be implemented in several stages, each with a capacity of 30,000 tons, to store local wheat. Where the project aims to eliminate the quantitative and qualitative loss of grains resulting from storing them in open sacks, which amounts to 10%, which causes the state great losses.

With regard to the livestock sector, legislation has been activated to prevent the slaughter of females and veal, and the implementation of the veal project has begun to increase livestock in Egypt, and the production of veterinary vaccines has been developed, and an animal production and milk processing plant has been established with a number of 7,000 heads of cattle, and the state has supported livestock vaccination programs against infectious diseases.

In addition to a group of projects represented in the national project for lining and covering canals, drains and waterways in all governorates, providing water and developing the agricultural system in North and South Sinai, and Establishing 13 agricultural complexes in North and South governorates to develop and purify the northern lakes and systems of using agricultural mechanization in the governorates of Minya and Fayoum.
