Quoting the site and channel (Alhadath Alyawm): “Green Eagle Tech Co. has succeeded in experimenting of Floppy Sprinkler (Overhead System) or the high system of artificial rain irrigation”. Egyptian agricultural expert Shukria Marrakshi announced.
The Tunisian expert explained that “the success of the experiment in the new Salhia area in the presence of a number of business owners, investors, bankers and research centers of the Ministry of Agriculture, makes shift in the world of irrigation, saving 40% of irrigation water consumption, and increase production and improve quality.
She pointed out that Egypt’s Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation Mohamed Abdel-Ati stressed that Egypt relies on 97% of its water resources that come from outside its borders including surface and groundwater, so Egypt is looking for practical and urgent solutions.
She added that this system will revolutionize the irrigation world not only in Egypt, but in all Arab countries as well. It is characterized by its efficiency in the distribution of up to 90% and rationalizing water consumption by 40% per ton of agricultural production compared to traditional irrigation systems.
